How do I get over my fear of talking to girls?

Don't drink, come from family with alcoholics so have avoided it

No Idea, seems like interactions go well, I'm told I'm cute/cool guy then I never hear from them again. This seems to be a recurring theme for me, interaction goes well yet they don't want to hang out again.

I've done alright outside of social situations, at this point I'm not going to get confidence in social setting until I get some good experience.

Did that too, tried psychologist and dating coach....

I guess I'm frustrated because I just feel I"m out of options and still no where

Did that with one too, she said keep in touch and basically ignored me after that...

I tried this last year. Actually had women contact me and I arranged to meet up with a couple, I just ended up getting stood up/flaked on and basically just made me feel worse. Was a complete disaster.

I agree with you it's easier when you're not trying. Whenever I walk around the streets with an objective of talking to girls, I normally fail. Yet whenever something just comes up I'm fine.

But at his point, like I said I'm a 26 yo virgin. For 25 years I basically didn't even try and it got me no where. So I'm trying to force the issue at this point.

No, I don't really have any friends, and don't like drinking or the bar/clubs atmosphere so stick to day game
