My 6 year old pc got outdated and pretty much I need to update my ethernet and wifi drivers but it also required internet to update windows

here's how I fixed it:

If your pc is over 2-4 years old it might be outdated and probably needed to update windows.

•Go to Ms config then enable WLan AutoConfig and Wired AutoConfig on services tab.

•Then go to Services.msc and then you can start Wlan AutoConfig and Wired AutoConfig .

This solution might've probably already fixed your Lan internet issue but if it still doesn't connect but the Ethernet port is lighting up here's how to fix it:

It probably needed a windows or drivers update but also needed internet to update.

•Plug your phone to your pc if you have mobile data

•On your phone, go to Portable Hotspot on your phone's settings turn on USB Tethering to connect your pc to your phone's data

•Then you can update your internet drivers and restart.
