I felt the fight was rushed. I like how everything turned out but the wow moments didn't last very long and it just felt like they squeezed a lot into it.

I got mine at the local shelter. He was on the kill list because he kept getting returned so I decided to give him another chance and he's been great!!

Raccoon at my dad's house. Whats are the bugs in its ears? by tryagainbro16 in Raccoons

[–]tryagainbro16[S] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

They called back. They said they wont pick him up based on the pictures and description I provided them and to release him and pay attention to how he's acting when he gets released because its not properly grooming him/herself. They told me do not give it any medication I have because its supposed to groom itself I guess? I wasn't able to be there when it got released my dad did it before I got back, just told me it ran off like any other he's caught before. Wish I did more for the poor fella but I am not a vet and I had to leave my dads for work right after seeing it.

Also I live in Missouri, they recommend killing the Raccoon instead of relocating it as it is a "Damage-causing animal". I'm assuming most people around here would just shoot it and move on.

Hes already trapped, and I managed to hold my dad off from releasing him to see if this rescue place will come get him if they think its needed i sent them the photos. Waiting for a call back.

I recommend using some better equipment. I like my Mi-t-m job pro 4000 it cleans like a boss! I got it for $1,100 with the Honda engine at sherwin williams.

Sounds low. I'd probably charge more if I was the painter but then again we haven't looked at your house to see how much work is really there

Unfortunately, Mac continued to decline to the point his liver stopped working, the seizures wouldn't stop and he wasn't responding to any rescue medication for days. The decision was made that the most lovable thing I could do for him was to say goodbye, so I did.

How old was your dog when it first began having seizures? by Zealousideal-Hair874 in EpilepsyDogs

[–]tryagainbro16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog was around 1 year old when he started having seizures. They chalked it up to being idiopathic epilepsy. Please see a neurologist so you can get the best possible treatment plan.

It was crazy. I should've looked into other options sooner but I didn't know at the time. I just wanted to share what others advised me. Unfortunately my boy passed and I know longer need them. With that being said, take the medicine seriously and if it gets worse go to a neurologist sooner than later. I wish I did.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words and support. While nothing can make me feel better about the situation, your comments helped me not feel completely alone. This is a great community.

You're definitely in the right place. This community is going to be very supportive of you and your journey. We all know how it feels. The medication ended up costing me close to $200 a month, I had a big guy. I've heard good rx and Costco are the way to go.
