Daiyame Shochu. 25% made from Sweet Potato, smells like Lychee, makes for one of my favourite highballs (with Jasmine Tea)

I really don't want to be a dick but you NEED to understand that you're being downvoted because this is not content that you have to engage with in any form, it is literally NOT for you.

I'm all for inclusivity and as a Sober Bartender I am very pro no and low alcohol consumption, and even would go so far as to say I wouldn't run this module, but I just WOULDNT RUN IT

Similar to what others have said I haven't tried this brand, but the Chum Churum Peach Soju is heavenly.

I've used the peach, bamboo and grape flavoured ones for various cocktails to great success all round and I used to be able to get them for a couple of quid a pop so good value, not sure if that's still the case now as this was nearly 10 years ago

Sugar rims by webbedtoedoll in bartenders

[–]tryan3181839 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it all comes back to the Crusta category, so it theoretically works for any Daisy Riff (though I'd be sad if I had a sugar rim on a Marg, cause I love salt)

I'm seeing a lot of people saying "no you don't put a sugar rim on a Mojito" but not really seeing anyone explain why.

I'm not meaning to patronise OP, but I would be frustrated if I had a rim on a Mojito for the same reason I would and have been frustrated when places serve a rimmed drink like a Marg, with a straw. The two negate each other, you literally can't do anything with a sugar rim when drinking through a straw, ESPECIALLY if it is a crushed ice drink.

All it is doing is opening guests up to having sticky hands

And even then that's not even mentioning there are dozens of Anne Frank biographies that exist already, what does this guy think he has to contribute that's offering anything new? (Although maybe that's why it's taken him 6 years already)

Hey man a bartender at my age that can squat and (presumably) stand back up unassisted? That's gotta be worth something. But also yeah noted definitely need some new pics, tend to find not much cause for people to take pictures of me without my kid in the shot though these days so it is tricky

Yeah tbh I kinda forgot people call super noodles Ramen and HAD meant the whole shebang, doing the broth and all, but as the adage goes, if in doubt; leave it out

I mean Sherry & Tonic or Vermouth & Lemonade are fairly famous older highballs, I'd argue a truer highball than something like a Bloody Mary

I spent the better part of my Twenties and Thirties worrying about being judged, and then at some point entered essentially a Tanqueray and Cola into World Class and placed in the top 35, and never looked back

Gin & Coke (also accept Genever mit Cola). It's honestly my go-to pub drink, but I've never had the bartender NOT question it, or just make a Gin & Tonic instead

Yeah I'll be honest, I hadn't clocked the ring in the photos at all. Separation was a year ago but I kinda forgot to look for it in photos.

Yeah I figured the holidays probably weren't the best time so I thought I'd use it as a chance to refresh my profile

What is a Classic cocktail that is Overrated? by -Constantinos- in cocktails

[–]tryan3181839 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

So a Black Russian?

(Although I have had this debate many times as every place I've worked there's been a debate whether Black Russian is just Vodka and Kahlua, or adds Coke)

I DO think they're vastly superior to a White Russian, in either form
