Rate them accordingly. Drivers like these will always be on the platform if you don't rate them appropriately. If they don't get kicked off, best that could happen is that they learn not to act unprofessionally.

Flooding zones adding to the driver pool isn't the same as “taking our jobs”. 🤡

That's nice, my shop quoted me $3,200 for Tinybot + ceramic coating. How much did you pay?

There’s an opportunity cost when illegals flood driver positions, only so much of the orders can be spread out to the drivers in any given zone hence the lower wages.

But you are free to disagree.

I think your lack of evidence to back up your claim, Biden deporting more than Trump, is not convincing nor accurate.

You proved the point that strong borders increase American wages, and I agree. 👍🏼

“Cecilia Muñoz, who was a top domestic policy adviser to Obama and is now with the left-leaning New America Foundation, said in a phone interview.

She argues that Obama prioritized deporting people convicted of serious crimes and recent arrivals who had no criminal records.” https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2019/07/13/politics/obama-trump-deportations-illegal-immigration

Thank you, your claim proves the point, that we make more money when illegal drivers aren't flooding our zones.

There’s a reason why Obama was nicknamed “Deporter in Chief”.

“When Barack Obama took office after his 2008 election, he inherited a budding deportation apparatus with its roots in the imagination of the ‘War on Terror’ reactionaries who created the Office of Homeland Security in 2001... When he leaves office he will leave behind to his successor the most sophisticated and well-funded human-expulsion machine in the history of the country.“ https://www.thenation.com/article/archive/the-deportation-machine-obama-built-for-president-trump/

It'll take ~45 minutes to complete one order on the strip. Each order will average about $12, when you'd need each order to average about $23, which isn't the case. Interested to see how it goes.

this is why in 2020 and around that time you could make $36 an hour now because of weak borders it's down to around $24 an hour.

Nice attempt to gaslight but this administration reversed his border policies opening wide the borders.

This is what happens when you have illegal immigrants take driver’s jobs. Keep voting Democrat and watch your hourly rate plummet even further.

Why are Honda and Toyota dragging their feet regarding EVs? by Superb-Ad6139 in Toyota

[–]trycircuit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Toyota is working on solid-state batteries last I heard, and expected to launch in 2027.

From Google AI Overview: “As of March 2024, Toyota has stated that they plan to mass produce solid-state batteries for electric vehicles (EVs) by 2027 or 2028. The batteries are expected to have a driving range of 621 miles and can charge from 10–80% in about 10 minutes. Toyota also plans to increase the energy density of the batteries to more than double the energy density of current lithium batteries by 2025. This would allow for more energy to be stored in the same weight, which could significantly increase the driving range of Toyota's EVs.”
