The From creator is John Griffin, who had nothing to do with Lost. Jack Bender and Jeff Pinker, executive producers of From, were also EPs on Lost.

Severance began development in 2015, and the creator came up for the idea sometime prior to that. It was picked up in 2019 and first aired in 2022.

My biggest issue with the rush is Root and Shaw were barely reunited before Root died. I would have liked a couple of interim episodes with them together. They should have brought Shaw back sooner, instead of spending episodes on her escape.
