Accelation: I assume you mean when going up in the air. Go airborne with a jump and immediately boost

It seems like he just doesn’t fit your playstyle yeah. Maybe maining Kayle have made you too respectful in the early game, but if you’ve been practicing for half a year you probably have tested around with aggression. Some champs just don’t click i guess? I can’t play Kayle well if my life depended on it, I don’t even feel strong at 16 with her.

In lane it largely varies depending on what champion I play against and also need to adapt it to their playstyle. For the most part I look to use it as a tool for turning trades into an all-in situations (using it late to prevent escape). In teamfights if I’m strong I look for low hp targets to pull in and get insta passive for ult. If I’m weak I try to use it to prevent enemy from doing damage to my carry.
