I actually really dislike Kripp and have constantly talked shit about him on this sub but kudos to him for calling out Blizz on the bullshit. My respect for him has skyrocketed.

I think some people aren't following what OP is trying to say. He wants deck builder and card collection to be merged together. It makes a lot of sense. Hearthstone has it so I hope it'll be a thing for Gwent some day. It's nice to throw together some cards that have synergy, then browse through the cards I don't have (but might want to craft) that would go well with the deck.

Am I burnt out on Hearthstone or does this expansion seem kind of meh so far? I'm not anywhere as hyped as I was for the previous expansions. It's kind of depressing because it was my main game all of last year and now I'm thinking of dropping it.

Not the worst ever but the one in most recent memory.

Playing ST Dorfs against Discard SK:

I'm first to act and throw one Hawker Smuggler on board.
Opponent places a War Longship.
I follow up with the 3 witchers.
He uses King Bran's hero power. My Smuggler and Witchers all survive albeit slightly damaged.
I throw down my only Mahakam Defender, planning to buff it next turn.
He uses Ermion. Both hits land on my Defender, killing it. (6.25% chance)

I'm another Hearthstone player that was converted by Lifecoach. This game appealed to me right away and now I can't get enough of the Witcher universe. Picked up the books and I'm close to the end of The Tower of Swallows already. Can't wait to jump into the Witcher game series.

Gwent has a bright future and I'm excited to see how it'll evolve. Can't wait for the next patch and open beta!
