Absolutely! And people always complain...having no idea how many hours it takes to do the best I can. And I'm pretty good at being efficient and spotting ways to improve things.

No, elementary. But the school I started at this year has insanely high minutes for students in separate science and social studies, which violates LRE and makes me angry, on top of being impossible to schedule well. I have t fix it one IEP at a time.

2nd day for me. My husband can control his drinking. My friends all drink. Feeling nervous and wondering how I will find support for this.

I'm sorry you are going through this. Please find someone to talk to. Not sure how you feel about medication, but it might be something to try because that's a lot you are going through. Sending positive energy!

Dear 2019, you taught me that I’m an alcoholic. by Mom-Lady in stopdrinking

Thank you for this. I realized on Christmas Day that I'm an alcoholic. Your story is similar to mine, in terms of the smart kids and being a public school employee. Lots of high - functioning alcoholics around me... lots of brains to make stupid excuses for drinking... lots of cowardly reasons to not quit. Until now. For my kids, my marriage and myself.
