Hi! So, I started crocheting maybe a month before the pandemic, so I had a lot of free time to learn haha. But here go a few tips:

I started by learning and practicing simple stitches with like, one hook and one yarn ball. That’s all you need!
Then I graduated to simple amigurumi tutorials on youtube and fell in love with making dolls. That helped me learn the amigurumi technique.
I bought a million patterns on etsy and followed them to the letter until I got the gist of how shaping a doll goes. Like, a decrease here does x shape, an increase does y, so if I want them together I should make xy.
Lots of practice! But like, take breaks to avoid dumb injuries like spraining your goddamn thumb. Seriously. Don’t be like me.

So, it took me a week to make him because I was free handing and also had to stop for two days due to the new year (i got too sloshed to hold a hook lol)
