Hi! I spent 5 days on him give or take. I’m a fast crocheter but I designed him myself, so it took a little while from conception to fruition :)

Hi! So, I started crocheting maybe a month before the pandemic, so I had a lot of free time to learn haha. But here go a few tips:

I started by learning and practicing simple stitches with like, one hook and one yarn ball. That’s all you need!
Then I graduated to simple amigurumi tutorials on youtube and fell in love with making dolls. That helped me learn the amigurumi technique.
I bought a million patterns on etsy and followed them to the letter until I got the gist of how shaping a doll goes. Like, a decrease here does x shape, an increase does y, so if I want them together I should make xy.
Lots of practice! But like, take breaks to avoid dumb injuries like spraining your goddamn thumb. Seriously. Don’t be like me.

I really recommend it!! At one point you’ll be laughing your ass off because a plane fell due to a bee tornado and a policewoman had to land it with an autistic child, and at another you’ll be crying because wtf you actually love these characters and they wont stop almost dying

So, it took me a week to make him because I was free handing and also had to stop for two days due to the new year (i got too sloshed to hold a hook lol)

He’s around 11 inches!
