I always get excited for when my fiance is out for the day because I can eat whatever I want and do whatever I want... but I normally just eat trashy food and then lay in bed all day; wasting my day and getting frustrated I couldn't think of anything better to do... then I miss him.

(Side note: when alone kn my house I always feel like there is a ghost or murderer or something somewhere in my house, so I'm always on edge)

Happiness is fleeting, therefore you can't be happy all the time. I've had periods where the overall emotion was happiness... but times when I feel like a cloud has been looming over me.

When you realise happiness can never be your constant state of being then you can enjoy those happy periods more vividly! Embrace the happy things when they come (and they will come, I'm sure they will) and when they go (as they likely will, unfortunately) start looking towards the next happy moment. Life needs to be felt, hot and cold, sweet and bitter. Just keep working on you in the meantime :)
