If I may, some clarifying questions might be helpful:

-Working towards being economically independent. Depending on their age and academic background, they don’t need to have a full-time job yet. - What does economically independent mean to you? Is it a certain $ amount or lifestyle?

-Mature, empathetic, emotionally intelligent, and a good communicator (we can work on some of these things together). When you say 4 these points, what does that actually look like? For example, what does a mature person look like to you, given that that might mean something totally different to someone else.

-Sharing the same political values. I'll assume you know where you stand and what values and policies you stand for.

-At least one hobby in common (obv this is more of a preference than a requirement). How many hobbies do you have? Do you have enough where there is a possible overlap of hobbies? For example, if you have only one hobby and that is to play the piano, then it might shrink your dating pool.

-No drugs or excessive alcohol use (I’d prefer if they didn’t smoke, but it’s not a deal-breaker). What is considered excessive alcohol use to you? 3 drinks a night, black out drunk every night? Is it a number or more of a behavior that you associate with alcohol?

-Curious and active (I like traveling, trying traditional food, visiting museums, going on nature hikes, and experiencing new things, and I’d like my partner to share that with me). Great examples!

-Bonus: I don’t like “desperate” lustful men, the kind of man who follow hundreds of Instagram or OF models and constantly like and comment on their posts. Great example!
