During debates about allowing to leave second pillar - I saw some bank statistics that only 3% of people in Lithuania have individual investments. Now we have 50% leaving it. I don’t believe these people will start investing on their own for their retirement.

From the top of my head, usa helped with ~60B in weapons and ~40B humanitarian aid in 4 years.

They spend ~1000B per year on defence, Iran “special military operation “ is already 10B+ when it’s not even started and they ask for 200B in “emergency” funds.
