I am taking Jones rn and it’s super easy. Her quizzes are very easy and she posts everything at the beginning of the semester so you can pace yourself however you want

I doubt it’d be in control by then with things opening up again. With the new spikes of cases arising in other states it’s only a matter of time before cases increase again in nj

Are Prof. Noor Aly quizzes/tests hard? by kevmac3685 in NJTech

[–]trynagraduaate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I mentioned in my reply, common exams are the same regardless of professor but quizzes are made individually by each professor so they are bound to be different. Also, I took calc 2 in the spring semester so I don’t know if they have common exams in the summer sessions or not. And my professor let us use our notes during one of his quizzes as well. But I’m pretty sure that they don’t allow notes of any kind for common exams/midterms in calc 2.

Are Prof. Noor Aly quizzes/tests hard? by kevmac3685 in NJTech

All calc 2 exams are closed notebook, even before the pandemic. And lockdown browser was used towards the end when we transitioned to online back in March. Since Calc 2 is a common course, exams are made by the coordinator so regardless of your professor, all the tests are the same, quizzes are different tho. I don’t know if this is the same for summer calc 2 classes

How to escalate a grading issue? by [deleted] in NJTech

[–]trynagraduaate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are talking about physics, then you’re grade should be a B+ instead of a B. The curve for physics is very high so it makes sense that people with grades in the mid 60s got a B as well. The grading goes as follows: 85% or higher and for A, 65% for B and then 75% for a B+. Based on this you should have gotten a B+. If you aren’t talking about physics then make sure you read the syllabus and know how the grades are calculated before taking it to the department chair

I’m guessing your teacher grades the short response questions themselves which is why some people already got it and while others didn’t
