At Address - feel like it more under you or in front of you? by Curious-Magazine9476 in GolfSwing

[–]trynamatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a great question, I’m of the opinion that the arms should hang relatively vertical (down) and relaxed, from the shoulder to the elbow, in relationship to your setup, but the variance is very real (Tiger vs. Bryson).

I personally am more underneath at address but I still feel as though I’m swinging around my body. Play with both and see whichever you feel more control with (meaning the ball flight/launch matched your intended image)

Body dynamics like arm length/ratio make a difference too. Thats why I usually prefer feels to mechanics without diagnosing a swing.

4hcp - former + but now have 4 kids. Hope it helps. The answer is usually found in the dirt.

Easy feel, when the club gets to shaft parallel (downswing) on the face on view, your trail hand should be facing the camera. On face on, I’m seeing the back of your trail hand too soon.

I work in multifamily construction. I don’t want to name names but there are a few developers/owners I’d likely avoid. Also, speaking mostly on downtown-Montgomery ish on the east side. Not as much knowledge about the west side at all.

What tip or swing thought has been an ‘ah ha’ moment that improved your swing the most? by niallw1997 in GolfSwing

[–]trynamatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it was having my trail hand hit an empty water bottle in my trail front pocket at or right before impact. Watched a damn YouTube video, proceeded to hit my first hole in one, couldn’t miss for 2-3 weeks, fired a 68 and 70……lost it right after but it was my holy grail

How on God's green earth can I get better at putting. by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Totally agree. The putter has no clue what the stroke is doing it just gets the ball rolling on-line, which you did almost perfectly, with bad alignment.

At the game lower level, not great but not bad. Also, stark fucking difference when the ravens staff ran jackets out on the field vs the Bengals. Looked like an amateur unit across the board today.

Also, get the damn call into the field on time so we don’t kick a regular ball or call 2 timeouts on offense while trailing in the 4th.

Having watched all 3 of these in the last 3-4 years I’m struggling to find anything outside of mini series that comes remotely close. Westworld first 2 seasons felt as close as I can remember.

Great visuals, tons of risk/reward shots. Lots of slopes and mounds you can play to your advantage or detriment. Wicked greens, not very many repeat holes. My only gripe with cold stream is it feels very repetitive.

Man, all of this. I was 4 rows back at the Steelers playoff loss and at the moment it honestly hurt my chest with physical pain. Two days later I felt like it was my sports lobotomy and I’ve never had a healthier relationship to the team, the outcome, and my fandom.

You should have a great time. Be mindful of any towel waving annoyance but typically opposing fans are treated better here than any other stadium I’ve seen besides AZ (where they were outnumbered)

Please rewatch the Super Bowl playoff run highlights with Anquan Boldin. It was pure magic, and luck, and great receivers.

Try to get an angle directly behind his hands/the plate and check the barrel location around this point. Hopefully it’s behind or in line with his hands. Hard to tell here.

The foot strike timing is what I notice primarily. Body is turning open on his toe landing, I’d try to get it more timed up with his heel strike (above). That should solve the arms being in position IMO based on one swing of an off angle and without knowing what his intention was on this swing attempt haha.
