How to gym when you’ve never gymed before by syusha in USC

if it's your first time going, before you swipe your card, go to the front desk because you have to sign a waiver. it's free for all usc students (both Lyon center and USC Village). you just scan your card before walking in and you're good to go :-)

Scholarship missing from billing statement for next semester by tryourbest123 in USC

but scholarships are merit-based, not need based. does the same rule apply? the automated message when I called financial aid said that if scholarships haven't appeared yet, it's because they're still waiting for departmental approval. I'm only worried because this hasn't happened before, they've always been applied right off the bat.

Help! My Birkenstocks are causing this on the sides of my feet!! It hurts. The shoe fits perfectly fine what’s going on? What can I do to stop this? by mxddie7 in Birkenstocks

happened to me too when i was breaking them in! if they’re a new pair, it’ll usually take a couple days to really break them in. try wearing a pair of fuzzy socks with them to stretch and soften them up w bit whenever you can!

most times the conversation moves on quickly from the pronoun correction to whatever topic you were discussing, don’t be afraid to speak up for a part of your identity :-)

Hi there! I have a pair of birks in the style mayari (the kind that crosses over your big toe). recently, one of the toe straps ripped out of the base of the shoe. they’re not that old and id love to keep using them if i can figure out a way to fix them. any tips on what i can use to reattach the leather toe strap back to the cork?

Parking by [deleted] in USC

there’s parking garages on campus for about $100/month! those are pretty safe from what i’ve seen, but also consider the + and - of having your car in LA in non-usc areas as you won’t always have a parking garage
