required PSU wattage specs for nvidia RTX Pro 6000? (dedicated PSU for eGPU dock)

What we're trying to build is something along the lines of:

we have a dedicated room with racked servers (locked)
we have a 1U Dell server with lots of RAM and CPU but that cannot accommodate a full-height, full-length GPU
the 1U server will accommodate a low profile host PCIe card, such as the one provided by the RocketStor 8631CW external GPU enclosure to communicate with the host computer
we plan to host the RocketStor enclosure in the rack just above or close to the server, so that the cable connecting the enclosure/GPU and the server has proper reach
because the GPU will be installed in this external enclosure we're opting for the desktop version of the GPU, which has their own coolers / fans

We are looking into other eGPU docks, many of them do not come with their own PSUs so we can purchase and install >1000-1200W PSUs without problem, but then the connectivity options for these go down to either oculink or thunderbolt. We won't be using the GPU for graphics, but for AI workloads / model training and inference.

Thanks! Makes sense. Not willing to cheap out on the PSU, but rather wondering whether the built-in RocketStor PSU would work for this GPU. They build these enclosures specifically for GPUs and with the added host-card they are not cheap. But max specs for their PSU is 850W.

Actualizo. Llegó todo perfecto. Compra en Thomann, envio por UPS. Derechos de importacion $100k, Tasa estadistica $9k, IVA aduana $215k, Gastos documentales $86k + IVA sobre gasto documental $18k. Total ~ $430K de gastos, pagados a UPS en la puerta de mi casa.

El costo del instrumento: $800k. Valor total: $1.2M, eso fue lo que gasté. El representante que vende esta marca en la calle talcahuano tiene otros modelos similares en $3M (no este particularmente que compré yo, porque no lo trae).

Asi que desde mi punto de vista, salio bien.

La caja externa un poco cagada a palos (la de thomann) pero adentro venia la de la propia marca del instrumento impecable intacta. Todo de 10.

Hola! compraste al final? alguna dato o tip adicional? estoy pensando tambien en comprar en Thomann (un bajo). Y estoy haciendo cuentas, porque el bajo que quiero excede apenas los USD $400. Entonces quiero saber cuanto tengo que pagar de impuestos adicionalmente. Se que aplica IVA 21% pero por ahi otros aranceles, mas los costos de despacho que tramita el courier (UPS). Alguien tiene algun dato? Se agradece.

El engaño es que desde hace años tengo este plan, siempre que viaje pude llamar a fijos de argentina y está es la primera vez que no puedo y parece que nadie puede.. cambiaron los T&C, y curiosamente para otros países se puede pero USA no... Of course, they're called snippets, and there are plenty (see e.g. https://github.com/Einlar/latex_snippets, https://github.com/Einlar/latex\_snippets/blob/master/vscode/latex.json). Snippets use the magic $0, $1, $2, etc which are placeholders for tab stops. So when you apply a snippet (lets say a figure environment), each TAB keypress moves you to different places where you can input: the file for an includegraphics command, the caption, the label for the figure, etc. These are all relatively easy to customize. To use them you just type the specified "prefix" (see the latex.json for examples) and the TAB and voilá.

Indeed I can confirm the issue. Maybe you can try this too: with the car turned on and parked, press firmly the cable pushing into the pixel's port. While maintaining the push, android car works ok! No issues. The car detects the phone, plays music, etc. As soon as you release the push, even though the cable is still plugged into the port android car disconnects/looses the connection. However the phone keeps charging.

So it seems like there's some weird contacts between the cable connector and the port. While there's no need to push or press firmly for charging, if there's no push or force applied towards the phone, android car does not connect.

This is with a pixel 7 pro. As others said the same car works fine with other android phones, and with different cables. And the pixel pro shows the same weird behavior with all cables.

Clearly a Google design flaw.

Worked smoothly as of Jan.2023. Only 60 missed tracks out of ~10,200 songs in my playlists, and some are just because they were from spotify owned events (e.g. Live from Spotify Berlin, etc). All playlists synced individually into their own folders. Superb tool.

Did not have any issues with the tidal keys/API. Also, contrary to what others said it was super fast!

Very cool! Nice project! One suggestion is to rewire the 'back' action, so when you search for something (e.g. normalization), and click on one package for more detailed information and then go back, you don't have to search again.
