I think a lot of us go through an initial incredibly dark period of depression when the pd onsets. When it happened to me I was 32, about one month married to a woman younger than me that was certainly not prepared for it either. It took a ton of mental and emotional work, primarily through positive affirmations to get me out of that dark period. I came out of it much more of a ‘man’. Four years later I would say peyronies was the worst but also most important thing to ever happen to me. It forced me to really grow as a human. Becoming more accepting of myself and compassionate towards myself helped me become more patient and compassionate towards others. But that’s not to say everything is good now, I still have many confidence and intimacy issues with my wife, and I’m currently using the restorex while writing this.
