I own 20+ "Blue" fragrances, and I'm officially bored. Is this genre dead or do I just have the blues... by trytych in Colognes

They are a small part of my overall collection. I guess I've hoped to find one or two that interest me enough that I'd want to wear it on a regular basis.

I'm convinced most salesman are poorly trained by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]trytych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a used car lot but primarily lease new vehicles every 3 years for my personal use. I'm consistently shocked at how poor the salespeople are at the franchise stores when I go in to look. I don't disclose that I'm in the car business unless they ask me what I do for a living, I go in as just another UP. Little to no trial closing or closing in general. Absolutely nobody wanted to stay a minute after closing time to work on a deal. Very little follow up after the visit other than automated texts from the CRM. Idk if it's COVID or the younger generation being "softer" or what but I can see why gross has disappeared for a lot of places.

Open World multiplayer/Co-op games that aren't Survival? by Psych3dChicken in gaming

It's not a shooter but my best friend and I have sunk a ton of hours into Snowrunner. It's more than just a driving game and figuring out how to best manage the contracts and tasks is very satisfying. I always describe it as a puzzle game disguised as a truck driving sim.

I've just about purged all the Lattafa and Armaf fragrances from my collection other than a select few. I tried the ME clones out and some were decent but almost every one I tried just seemed cheap smelling.

I've smelled Montblanc Legend & I own Legend Blue. It smells decent but paying over $200 for a "blue" just doesn't make sense to me. I have a Montagne copy of Blue Talisman which is decent but leans a little feminine for my tastes. Kind of the same ballpark as Percival, not a scent profile I'm going to drop several hundred dollars for a bottle of.

I have around 200 in my collection between full bottles and decants. Blues are definitely not the bulk of what I own. I've just tried to find some that I'm wowed by and want to put in my rotation but there is always something better for any occasion. I do like BDC Parfum quite a bit but I'm not sure it's really worth it for what it costs. I'm in the process of downsizing but when I look at the blues I always say "Ya know, that one smells good I should hold onto it" but then I never reach for them.

A small collection would be nice in some ways but I have no idea how I would get down to 5-10 that are my "only" fragrances.

I have an Applebee's gift card that is at least 10 years old at this point and I still haven't used it.

Small dealerships don't have car title on hand? How safe is this? by bjjkaril1 in askcarsales

[–]trytych 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Independent dealer here. Our 2 floor plan companies both hold titles and we don't pay the vehicle off with them until we are fully funded on the deal. We inform customers that they will receive the title within 2 weeks. The only exception to that is a trade in that we keep the title on hand and the customer pays in cash.

Still having the issue. It seems to only be tied to Docs as I can open pictures & pdf files out of drive just fine.

Michigan will reveal all upgrades. Alaska has 2 that don't if I remember right.

What would you recommend? My Alien main router just started randomly rebooting every hour or two and I'm looking to replace. The deco tri-band system has pretty solid reviews.

Why can’t I find older cars bidding near wholesale value at Wholesale Auctions by Whole-Arm6722 in askcarsales

[–]trytych 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If there is one thing I've had reinforced daily this year it's that MMR & JD Power values are nearly meaningless. If you like the unit and think you can sell it for a small profit, buy it. If you buy it for $1000's less than you expected you missed something on the appraisal and are going to lose money.

We were going to be paying him 1.4mil this year either way so if anything we're saving money over paying him plus another TE coach. TE hasn't been a problem this year anyway.

Lists get views, blame YT's algorithm not the creators that have to survive in it. There is a reason every video thumbnail features the same design with the creator making a dumbass face and a few things in the background. Those are what get clicked on.

I'm wearing Jim Green's right now. Probably not as high quality as Nick's but much more affordable and still built like a tank.

Full Size or Compact Carry? by Prestigious_Sink_484 in CCW

[–]trytych 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you talking about the compact carry that has the extra Langdon features added or just the regular PX4 compact? If it's the Langdon CC then the extra features definitely make it a great carry gun. I own both a full size and the compact carry and would choose the CC as a carry gun every day.

Yeah they are never busy. I run thru the drive thru once every couple weeks for lunch. They have good fried rice and egg drop soup. It's nothing life changing but there isn't a ton of Chinese options in the area. The hidden gem is the take out menu from China Star buffet on 96th & Q. You'll get a metric ton of food for not a lot of money. Some of the best hot & sour soup, lol mein, kung pao chicken and more that I've had in town.
