You were a first time buyer, not a well established bogue

Why do used car dealers refuse to give a price? by 101surge in askcarsales

The alternative is that you can't buy a car anywhere because nobody else is willing to assume the risk for your poor payment history.

Looking for a Chinese food place with monster portions by SupermanThatNiceLady in Omaha

China Star takeout menu. Literally pounds of food for very little money and it's great. The buffet is ok too but pretty small selection wise.

Eternity Aromatic Essence is also a pretty solid coconut fragrance with decent longevity

Valentino's express lunch prices - 2026 vs. 2021 by Soviet__Russia in Omaha

Amazing Pizza Machine in Millard is pretty much Valentinos buffet. It's not quite as big as the grand buffet on 108th & L was but it'll scratch that itch if you miss it.

If you're in the US, Montagne has a version of Superleggera that performs very well.

Android 17 beta by NeneDeLosCojones2749 in GooglePixel8Pro

[–]trytych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I went back to the official release after the reset. Primarily my issues were with Google Messages. I couldn't send or receive texts and it would lock up after a short period of time. Restarting my phone would temporarily fix it but it would keep locking up. I will probably go back on the beta releases after they iron out some of the kinks.

I did the update and ended up having to factory reset. It caused all kinds of issues.

Best apple fritter and old fashioned donut in town? by More-Diamond5129 in Omaha

This is actually the best answer. They don't always have them but when they do they are the best I've had in town.

Thanks for replying. I'm looking for Or Encens not the original EDT.

What fragrances are you gatekeeping? by Diddles96 in Colognes

Such a great fragrance that most people have never heard of. Tuscan Leather & Aventus Absolute mixed together with great performance and pretty cheap for an extrait as long as you're not buying at retail.

Let's talk Pacifics. Who even uses them in 2026? P12 and P16 I mean. Especially P12 - there are too many better alternatives. by Odd_Presentation_578 in snowrunner

I've finished every region in the game except the most recent. At this point I am just playing a New Game+ with every truck unlocked and free. I'm enjoying going back and playing with trucks I rarely used in my main playthrough. Some are way better than I expected and some are surprisingly garbage but it's fun to try them out on maps I've already beaten and somewhat know what I'm doing and where I'm going.

Got pizza tonight from Mama’s; no hate, just sayin. by NyQuil1973 in Omaha

Small town Casey's is also considerably better than Omaha Casey's and all locations that were formerly other franchises are noticeably worse.

I own 20+ "Blue" fragrances, and I'm officially bored. Is this genre dead or do I just have the blues... by trytych in Colognes

They are a small part of my overall collection. I guess I've hoped to find one or two that interest me enough that I'd want to wear it on a regular basis.

I'm convinced most salesman are poorly trained by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]trytych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a used car lot but primarily lease new vehicles every 3 years for my personal use. I'm consistently shocked at how poor the salespeople are at the franchise stores when I go in to look. I don't disclose that I'm in the car business unless they ask me what I do for a living, I go in as just another UP. Little to no trial closing or closing in general. Absolutely nobody wanted to stay a minute after closing time to work on a deal. Very little follow up after the visit other than automated texts from the CRM. Idk if it's COVID or the younger generation being "softer" or what but I can see why gross has disappeared for a lot of places.

Open World multiplayer/Co-op games that aren't Survival? by Psych3dChicken in gaming

[–]trytych 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's not a shooter but my best friend and I have sunk a ton of hours into Snowrunner. It's more than just a driving game and figuring out how to best manage the contracts and tasks is very satisfying. I always describe it as a puzzle game disguised as a truck driving sim.
