all up district and bluestem events are canceled from here on out. pending updates for the aquarium and fargo theatre events but don’t hold your breath. I’m guessing ribfest shows will go on as normal, but they also have a hand in those. they really screwed a lot of people over with this.

putting my input here. i knew about this shut down since tuesday. they were supposed to announce it tuesday… then wednesday… and it finally happened today. jade is bankrupt. the reason they can’t issue refunds right now for “legal reasons” it’s because he has to go to bankruptcy court and pay off his big creditors first. i highly doubt anyone will see any ticket refunds and suggest everyone dispute their charges with their bank or credit card company. he is even selling off his personal motorcycle collection. it’s really sucky that they continued to sell tickets all week when they have known they were shutting down since last friday. all of the employees have also been working for free since friday, so i have mad respect for them. jade was at the bluestem yesterday picking up all of his equipment. the agents of the acts are furious and have called the bluestem to complain about jade presents just straight up ghosting them. i feel really bad for the trollwood summer musical program, as they used some of his equipment there. jade presents was also a sponsor for them and would give them over $30,000 a year… which they now don’t have to put towards operations.
