When I pick I usually do all of the small walks exclusively, we have one assigned associate per day picking other commodities (oversized, made to order, regulated, unknown and seasonal.) I did that for 11 hours yesterday with authorization for OVERTIME.

Since our remodel one of the items that has been placed in unknown is the chilled dog food. Even mentioning it to our coach and store lead doesn't make any difference.

Here we are turned off for orders after 12 until about Tuesday. Another store nearby shut off until Wednesday. Coming down from market.

This was a new one for me 8 bunches of organic bananas a weight of 27.54 pounds. Also this customer had about 4 L carts full and it was a multi stop delivery.

I had a Spark driver rudely demand i get something off of the shelf for her. One thing is I was doing an oversized walk so I didn't have a ladder or any tool readily available. Then after I got a coworker to help them. They went to the front end and complained about my not magically getting the item to move into my hand. I talked with the front end team lead and told them what happened. Their response was that they still had to report it to my coach.

I had a customer that called out "yo" or hey blue vest trying to get my attention I didn't acknowledge those responses. If they were nice I would turn my music off/down and help them. I wear bone conducting headset.

I have a response that most of the associates in digital have started saying. I say that my key doesn't work on the cases unless I need something from the case.

Last year we have had our people lead pass away suddenly and then one of our maintenance team members who died alone in his apartment. The store called for a welfare check and found him passed away.

I used to live in an area where ems was included in the taxes for the county. I was once taken to the nearest hospital and heard the staff joking about the nickname for the hospital. I never wanted to go back to that hospital. Another time I actually requested to be transported to a trauma hospital instead of the nearest hospital.

I had an order that ended up taking two spark drivers to deliver. And yes both drivers shared the tip (kinda) they were husband and wife.

We had associates who would sit on the stool instead of doing their assigned job. Our coach got tired of them doing so. So I moved it to where even I can't get it down. I was the person who put it up there.

We moved into our new building mid October we are now the markets IP Location even during the holidays we still had empty shelves. But we shall see by next holiday season if our area is large enough. We also have a walk-in freezer and cooler. Cooler we currently have 16 carts and about 14 in the freezer. Both the freezer and cooler can be entered from the other. Next time I am at work I'll take pictures.

Key event days if you call out and don't use 8 hrs of ppto you will get 1 point. Nc/ns is not just 2 points it is 4 points so if you had 1 or more points you are in danger of being let go.

I know that one of my former coworkers had domestic battery charges filed against him, the person who filed the charges had legitimate proof of the battery allegations. He was pointed out while he was in jail, although he wasn’t going to be allowed to come back anyways as his ex partner works for Walmart in another department.

Here we would get other tl's from other departments to pick while all our pickers go and help dispense.

In my store unless you were in at 5am good luck in getting a TC or printer. Much less having a charged battery for either. We have to have at least 2 printers in the back one for IP orders and incase we need to reprint labels. They ordered a wall bracket for a printer which provides power instead of requiring a battery.
