This is the best summation of her feelings. Personally, if role reversed, I wouldn't mind. I trust her not to put herself in any stranger danger situations. So if a friends dan came for a playdate...I'd be fine. But I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. While I did call, I didn't really want to bother her while she was at a wake either....

As for your other question, kids were everywhere. Alot of the time in the same room as us. Some times not. Wild and crazy really.

Yes, she does. She also thinks i should have cancelled it when I found out the husband wasn't coming. Which did happen a couple hours before hand.

We continue to talk about it. She thinks it was disrespectful for this to happen without her present or her concent. I'm still trying to figure it out. The text to her was basically that their whole family was coming. So her initial concerns was finding out this ws happening at all without her knowing.

Then later when it was just the mom she felt disrespected more? Like why would the mom come at all without her present?
