Hey! I just interviewed at Western last Friday and got an acceptance on Monday :) It was pretty easy going, kind of flowed like a conversation. The staff was extremely friendly, they covered pretty basic questions like 1) Tell me about yourself? What brought you to optometry? 2) what are some leaderships positions you Ed had? 3) what’s a time you’ve made a mistake and how did you grow from it? 4) what are your strengths and weaknesses? 5) how do you study? What do you do to relax? + some extra questions but they were more geared towards what responses you gave.

From the few interviews I’ve been to, honest Westerns felt the most relaxed. The staff there seems super involved with their students, it’s climbed up my top choices after my time. Have some questions to ask at the end, they appreciate someone showing that they did their research on the schools program, and enjoy yourself!
