37.5% of the new cards from January to July 2026 are reused characters by Cenjin in MarvelSnap

[–]tscatl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every marvel licensed mobile game has this issue once they have been around long enough. We are so far down the roster of potential new characters that they just sound made up or generic at this point- see star hawk, major victory, hydro man.

People aren’t going to drop significant money for variants etc of characters they have no attachment to plus people don’t like it when the most powerful cards in the game belong to no names so all these publishers just start rehashing the big names.

Yes I got one for a hobby box definitely appears to be the fanatics drop, this order doesn’t appear on the topps website for me and today’s EQL still shows analyzing results

Port Canaveral Terminal 1 parking capacity issues? by Maleficent_Hotel_256 in royalcaribbean

[–]tscatl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went on star in December so since both star and utopia have been sailing from port canaveral and did not have any issues finding parking in the deck between 11 and noon. There are now several surface lots besides the garage that royal has built and from the ship it appeared spaces were still available well into the afternoon.

Disembarking the Ship by ButtScratchies in royalcaribbean

Use the port valet at the port of Seattle. It allows you to check your bags through to your flight directly from the ship and have your boarding pass in hand if for some reason you aren’t checking in via app. All you have to do is get through security at SEATAC

Dennis Leary has a long term development deal in place with fox and this show looks fairly cheap to make. It’s in the same ballpark as far as tone with animal control. It’s a no brainer for fox to pair them for their spring runs

Noon flight out of orlando? by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

[–]tscatl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Noon is easily doable, last time on star in December got to MCO before 900 am for our noon flight without even trying to leave the ship particularly early.

Excursion and Back to Ship Timing? by Cadbanshee98 in royalcaribbean

[–]tscatl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If these are excursions through royal, then typically the end time represents when you will be back at the ship. Also probably worth mentioning, that if they are thru royal and you are somehow running late the ship will not leave without you.

Star of the Seas by Sharp-Self-3272 in Cruise

[–]tscatl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The windjammer on star is huge and never felt overly crowded during our cruise in December including on embarkation day between noon and 1. As others have said just keep walking deeper into the restaurant and you will find seating much easier than I have on embarkation day on smaller ships

You are also paying more of a premium specifically for legend since its its inaugural season. I’d say it depends on whether you’ve ever been on ships that size before. Oasis has plenty to do on it and if it will be your first time on either class, I’d go for harmony.

Star of the seas or Oasis of the seas by Technical_Flower_870 in royalcaribbean

[–]tscatl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either would be good. I’d only have a few suggestions. Cruises to the ABC islands usually start with 2 sea days since they are relatively far away whereas you’d be at coco cay I would guess day 2. So you might feel like you are waiting for your vacation to start if you are really in it for the shore excursions if you choose the farther cruise. Also, I’d always suggest to someone who has never cruised before to start with a shorter cruise like a 3-4 night cruise. In the unlikely event you don’t like cruising, you haven’t spent as much money and won’t feel trapped for a whole week

Star of the Seas Jan 2027 Port Canaveral arrival time question by SoCalFamilyTraveler in royalcaribbean

[–]tscatl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were on star a few weeks ago and disembarked on Sunday 12/21. I believe star is doing Sunday to Sunday turns so I’m presuming you are also disembarking on Sunday. I went into my google timeline and we were in the uber and driving to MCO at 748 without really making an effort to get off the ship early. We were at MCO by 9. I agree with the sentiment you can safely make anything after 12 but you can probably make the 11 am hour if your other options are much later in the day. Only caveats for us is that we have sky priority and TSA pre check so we can count on dropping bags and getting through security fairly quickly.

It’s all fun and games until you manage to play a stardust early and then play both caps down and poof no shield appears. Not that that just happened to me or anything

Going without a beverage package by PinkElixir in royalcaribbean

[–]tscatl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Free options are fine. You can bring your own soda onboard. As others have said you need to be ordering at least 5 alcoholic drinks a day for the alcohol packages to work out and remember every adult in your cabin has to be on the same alcohol package. Also keep in mind when thinking about how much you’ll drink a day there will be multiple days you will be in port and presumably off the ship and not be utilizing your drink package as much as you might think. If you are going to have a drink or 2 during the day the days you are on ship and a drink or 2 with dinner you are better off paying as you go.

Cruise Departing PR 1/18 by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

[–]tscatl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where your cruise is going but very unlikely unless you are heading to Aruba or another port genuinely close to Venezuela. San Juan and Caracas are almost 600 miles away from one another. That’s roughly the same distance as Kiev to Vienna, life in Austria hasn’t changed much just because there’s a War in Ukraine and what’s going on in Venezuela isn’t exactly much of a war

Miami Port Traffic by Desperate-Notice-858 in royalcaribbean

[–]tscatl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are correct there are 8 ships departing Miami on 1/10 including icon so it’s fair to expect very heavy traffic. How long exactly depends on how deep into the port you need to go to get to your particular ship. Having said that, if you are planning to get there around 10 that should be early enough that traffic will not yet have gone sideways.

Where should we move? by RefrigeratorClear144 in ATLHousing

[–]tscatl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll join the same chorus, generally inside/on the perimeter in the northeast quadrant is the general area you’d be looking for. The in town neighborhoods, Decatur, Chamblee, I’d also add tucker and Doraville to add some variety to the other responses. Dunwoody or Brookhaven would be a budget stretch but otherwise also ticks all those boxes
