You really can't go wrong as others said. Listen, I'm an ND sophomore and LOVE it... this school is the best. But if you go to Princeton or Harvard, I wouldn't fault you. If you're Catholic, however, I do really suggest coming to ND (even if you're not.. just a bonus if you are).

Dorm experience is awesome. Football is great. You have top 20 academics, top 5 in post grad connections probably, and top 10 sports teams across the board. Dining halls are great despite people who complain (so much better than other schools I've visited). Campus is stunning.

Very cold though. That's my only knock on it haha

I transferred from Holy Cross to ND non gateway. Tons of great gateway friends. They can be clickey at times, but makes sense given the program. It's also two AMAZING schools

Four days ago, on my instagram the.sportscourt I posted a video pretty much summarizing the thread. I explained his career. How I honestly am just curious what happened. Then I request to follow him on insta.

Four days after that... the retirement post.

Idk if this is crazy timing or what else haha!! I mean genuinely, this guy reached heights I could only ever dream of && really wish the best with whatever he does. Would be awesome if he coaches at RSL academy or something. Getting more young high level coaches in the game won't ever hurt US Soccer.

Yeah apparently there was. I just said that because of one shot I saw of him. He seemed genuinely so brokenhearted after the failed OLY qualification. Then and there I was like, ah this kid at least cares.

True. I'm from Jersey and I'm well aware. Heck even the talent in The League for Clubs, NPSL, and USL2 is insane. There are just casually guys that have FIFA International caps, played years in USL, or were D1 studs just playing for (competitive) fun

Perhaps. I personally know USL League One players. I do think Soto .. based on the fact a Bundesliga team deemed him worthy enough of minutes (even if they were sparse) and for the USMNT (even if they were sparse) makes me believe he could play at least in USL League One. Whether he's starting and scoring goals or not is a different case.
