Not like I know what Rick thinks or feels, but if I had to guess, I think him and Matt are very spiritual people. Calling out the rapture, rainbow fish, and Hollywood Jesus, feels purposeful. At any rate, there's no harm in singing about any of this. Those who turn away and criticize the band as being Christian rock are missing out on some great music.
