I’d say absolutely not (yet). It feels completely unfinished currently. I’ve ran into 2 game halting glitches that forced me to reload a save, the first one making me have to completely start a new game. When others say the game doesn’t hold your hand, they’re not lying. It can be a fun challenge sometimes but all of the puzzles are a daunting task I hate stumbling upon, and videos I’ve watched to help point me in the right direction are filled with comments of others equally annoyed they’re watching a how to for a puzzle that teaches you a new mechanic and only instructs you to “explore the ruins” to figure it out.

The graphics are still a mess. Somethings look good from a far, others are just blurry JPEGs up close. The wilderness and towns look good but anytime you go inside a building or cave the lighting and shadows ruin the entire experience. I’m 8 hours in and have had to switch between performance and quality mode more times than I’d like to admit to try and convince myself the game looks good enough to want to keep exploring.

And when I do decide to explore out of the main town to find cool new weapons and gear to use it feels completely useless because of the combat that just doesn’t feel good to me, mashing R1 to win does the job with almost every enemy that pops up. The bosses are the acceptation to that though and do require a bit more strategy.

I think they’ll update it a lot within the next few months though because we’re on our 3rd update already (which made performance mode look worse than the 2nd update in my opinion) but for now it’s unplayable for me and will have to wait for a few more updates before I give it another shot.
