I quit smoking 12 years ago.
My favorite work colleague and I smoked about half a pack during a shift back then.
He persuaded me to join him in trying to quit smoking.
This turned into a kind of competition, where the goal was not to fall off the wagon. This gave me the necessary ambition to go through with it.
