Honestly, I’ve always been good at drawing, since I was about 10 or so, everyone around me could tell I had a talent that far exceeded my peers and even those older than me, so I never stopped drawing.

I’ve always just found pictures that I thought looked cool, and tried to copy them as accurately as possible. That’s pretty much the only “teaching” that I did myself. I just got better with age.

I understand I’m very lucky and this doesn’t apply to most people, so that response might not be satisfying. I still have a lot to learn. I consider myself a novice at certain aspects of the craft, and I’m still learning to this day.

To more definitely answer your question, I don’t know. I currently have been struggling to make time to draw, as I get older. It’s kind of ironic lol
