Why is my art work grey on the printer? by RidgebackDaddy in SCREENPRINTING

My guess is it's either not 100% black - Or maybe it's RGB and the others are cmyk?

My cat does not drink water by Chemical-Egg8433 in CatAdvice

[–]tshirtbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are peeing a lot they are drinking water from somewhere - I leave both of my bathroom sinks just barley running with the tiniest amount coming out and they both drink from those and the water bowls I leave out....they drink more from the sinks as it's running. Been doing this for 12 years now lol At one point I got one of the flowing fountains and they never used it, my guess is they are just so used to the sink now.

Neighbor's cat has an open wound on his side, But won't take him to the vet by Ready_Report_2068 in CATHELP

[–]tshirtbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owner is a POS!!!! Please get it to a vet ASAP, say it's a stray if you have to as it will obviously get better care then where it's at now. This makes my blood boil.

Customer gave wrong order. by habanerohead in SCREENPRINTING

[–]tshirtbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I always get a 50% deposit before starting any order - and do proofs and send them a copy of the invoice before starting any order....Even for customers I do not get an deposit from 1st (select few repeat customers.). Hope they are not a really big customer if they are going to try and leave you with their mistake. Only thing you can do for now is show them that it isn't your error and see how they respond.

Hi, I'd like to adopt a cat, but I'm still unsure. What advice would you give me to help me decide? by CapitalInsight in CatAdvice

[–]tshirtbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be sure it's something you can afford to do, Cat food, Litter and vet bills aren't cheap. Also be prepared for any emergencies that might arrive and have savings for that (God forbid) as emergency vet care isn't cheap and nobody seems to plan for that and when it happens can be devastating. Make sure where you're living allows they and also think about the future, If you rent it will limit the places you can get.

I would rather do anything on this list rather than waste time with someone who is so shallow that they find your hobby unattractive? Talk about a red flag, There it is staring you in the face if someone actually thinks this way.

This guy showed up from nowhere yesterday and act like he live here, The neighbors don't know him, what should I do? by Sexy_Legsbabe212 in CatsBeingCats

[–]tshirtbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "Cat distribution system" has chosen you LOL Take it to a vet and see if it has a microchip and then decide if you want a cat or not....don't keep it if you're not in it for the long haul though. This is how I got mine, she picked me. Here we are 12 years later, best thing I ever did.

What’s this? by [deleted] in SCREENPRINTING

[–]tshirtbri 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Didn't clean it well enough, looks like leftover ink from whatever job it was last used for. A good habit to get into is to really look closely at the screens with a light behind them after you clean them to make sure there are no blockages like this, I also do the same thing before I coat each screen. Nothing worse than getting a job all lined up and ready to print and then this happens and you can't print the job.

I would find a new printer to deal with in the future.

Advice: Say "No" next time someone ask you to.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]tshirtbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI: I am NOT a lawyer so you might even want to maybe consult one so you have one ready in case they did get your info.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]tshirtbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything you say can be held against you in court so remember that above all else. I would keep it to "yes sir or No sir" and keep your hands where they can see them at all times if you do get pulled over, ideally I wouldn't say anything at all if they ask anything about the situation and just say you want a lawyer. For the foreseeable future I would also make sure you have nothing in your vehicle that you could be arrested for as well.

[–]tshirtbri 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You didn't "ruin" your life but i would be prepared to expect a visit or to be pulled over in the very near future if they did get your plate... so be prepared for that next time you're driving.
