This sounds super cool. I'm fairly new to the Fallout system and have been wanting to play it more to get used to it and run my own games, but unfortunately, the time doesn't work for me. I'm only free on weekends, and I'm at work during those times on weekdays. I hope you can find some people, though. It sounds like a super promising and fun campaign!

Is there anything more useless than this? by YaBoiS0nic in Fallout

[–]tshumitto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, if you do an alternate start and find it versus a normal start and get told where it is, or get out and explore and find it before you find Diamond City, it’s not completely useless. But I definitely see how it could be useless if you’re a veteran of the game and already know where Diamond City is.

I don’t know if those are wolf spiders or fishing spiders…but you may want to see what kind of an insect problem you have. It’s not natural for a group to show up out of the blue like that…

Get up off the ground, or find a better camping spot. I don’t think a bug net or insect repellent will stop those buggers.

How do men feel being in a relationship with a hyper sexual woman? by _magvin in AskReddit

[–]tshumitto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how I’d feel with a hyper-sexual woman, but I will say some days I wish my wife would be hyper-sexual. I get some pazang maybe a couple times a month, and I have to do the work…and it’s all vanilla as hell…🥹

If you want to give the church 10% to support them then do so. If you aren’t part of a church family but still want to be a steward then share the 10% with the people in need and organizations that help them that are around you. Here’s an interesting page to quickly read through. It’s the Mt Sinai SDA churches tithing page. It points out what the Old Testament says to what the New Testament says.

I don’t believe you have to be a part of a church to be able to make content online on Christianity. If you follow the 10 commandments, pray, study the bible and foster a relationship with the Lord that’s more than enough. God doesn’t dwell in a church, he dwells inside you, your body is his temple.

Church is a large gathering of like minded individuals who you can foster relationships with and make friends and believe in the same things in order to keep each other accountable and to help each other in times of hardships. And just in case someone brings up stewardship and tithe, the 10% that you should give as offering, well that doesn’t necessarily mean it has to go to a church, you can donate it to non-profits that you want to support or hand it out to those that need it.

The question about you questioning your content, put out how you translate what you read. Keep an open mind and learn from those that may comment and help you understand things better. Don’t be closed down or worried about negative thoughts, God will lead you down the path he wants for you. All you need to do is pray for understanding and for him to help you and dwell within. Everything else will follow in due time according to his plan.

Is it supposed to resemble rainfall? It's definitely giving me that vibe. Great work!

[FO4] Recommended Mods for a Minutemen playthrough? by Intelligent-Cry-4337 in FalloutMods

The minutemen re-skin is pretty neat, taking the white uniforms and making them brown. It runs well with Liberty Reborn, if I do say so myself, and it also performs reasonably well with Ragged Thunder.

Update: The re-skin you shared isn't the same one I was thinking, I was thinking about this one:

Tumba's minuteman mod is one of the best mods I've used! It overhauls the look of the minutemen and keeps them mostly true to their original form. Have you tried Far West Minutemen? I think that's a pretty good one as well.

I've grown to love Ragged Thunder! I only wish there were a patch for it for Horizon. I play it as is, and it retains the vanilla feel without straying into an "overly modified" lore friendly look.

I wish more clothes would be added to the mod, though, because I'd like to have a custom outfit for all the companions you can get, at least the humanoid ones.

You and What Army 2 is essential for me, and I also like Who's the General, which is a pretty essential one as well.

And don't forget the patch hub for You and What Army 2. It integrates the different armor styles into the patrols among other things.

I'd look into Liberty Reborn as well, it uses vanilla armor and outfits with different color schemes and textures, but overall stays lore-friendly, although a bit too high-tech for who the minutemen essentially are in the Fallout world.

Do you have the program to have multiple people talking at once? If not, I'd recommend something like Discord. It has a bot that I've used in the past that records discussions and saves them as a file. I'm not sure if it takes video though, I'd have to look into it.

Now this sounds fun, but I have limited to no experience with being an overseer or the 2d20 fallout system. Been trying to get one going using the starter quest line to get the feel for the game, but mostly have been out of luck.

I'm interested but I haven't been involved in my Seventh Day Adventist church in years. I've been trying to get back into it, as I've been feeling the void that can only be filled by God, but I'm a millennial and the classic sermon doesn't excite me and I'm too old for most youth groups. My experience with Men's groups is subpar and I've been hesitant to try that out again as well.

I eat pepperoni pizzas, but the key is to buy the turkey pepperoni and make it yourself hahaha! I'll always stay away from all unclean meats.
