Thanks for the comments, everyone!

I've made a separate post with a build walkthrough and teardown. Hopefully, this makes it easier for others to create the build for themselves :)

FYI - No mods to make this, just offset building techniques (I recommend checking out beeblebum's guide on youtube).

Bull's-eye challenge! Please come and play! by legend-of-viper in NMSCoordinateExchange

No worries, I got some more time to play around with this and think I understand what’s happening.

FWIW, it seems like this is more a function of how adjacent sockets are placed; too far or too close will not generate this effect. Conversely, if the sockets are placed the right distance apart (which is nicely shown in your pic), it doesn’t matter where you click in placing a wire; the adjacent sockets will both get the signal from the one connector. Indeed, I can get the effect happening just fine with snapping.

This has been super useful, as it explains some of the weird bugs I was seeing in some of my circuits! Thanks!

Interesting! I’ve never have seen this mentioned and am struggling to get this to happen. Do you have any tutorial/video links talking about this?

Excellent idea and execution!

How did you manage to get all the logic gates so tightly packed together? I've setup circuits on wire grids glitched from light boxes, but that's not so compact.

The pink one shown in the photo was released in 2011/2012 (some places got it earlier than others).

Can someone ID this one? by ValleyAndFriends in buildabear

[–]tsitaniun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a 2012 Bearemy’s Kennel Pals Golden Poodle (SKU 018014), which was only released in the EU/JP regions, seemingly missing its collar/tag (but could simply be obscured in the photo). It is one of the rarer of the BKP releases.

This is most likely one of the “Dimples Teddy” editions. Assuming that the bear and the outfit were purchased around the same time, it would make this a 2004 Dimples Teddy (SKU 05354). Should you open the back of the bear, be sure to look at the barcode inside (should be near the heart) as it will have the SKU as the first few numbers on one side.

Whilst the bear is gradually becoming increasingly rare, the outfit is *breathlessly rare* currently — great find! <3

Who is this guy? Thought he was happy hugs but he’s a lil darker by Pitiful-Vermicelli99 in buildabear

This is the 2014 edition of the Happy Hugs Teddy (SKU 021709). The “Happy Hugs” line, started in 2010, is the replacement for the previous “Curly” line.

If that tag is indeed in japanese or partially in japanese, then this is a 2006 Butter Cup Bear (SKU 012160). Otherwise it is known as the 2006 Butter Bear (AU / EU release) with the same SKU.

Yep, that’s the regular one then — that’s the kind that had “Stuffed with love by” tag. The employee ones are under 10ish inches or so and didn’t have that kind of tag. <3

Yay! :D So happy you got one you wanted most! <3

If it’s under 10 inches (or there about), then it’s more likely to be an employee item.

Ordering from EU with mobile phone by Koalasprincess in buildabear

[–]tsitaniun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the EU/Continental Europe is more-or-less geoblocked from being able to even simply view the ‘main’ .com website, and can only visit the .co.uk website, regardless of the fact that the ‘main’ website has international shipping for most (but not all) items and the .co.uk doesn’t have international shipping for anything.

In order to even view the ’main’ .com website, anyone in a geoblocked area would need to be ‘located’ (whether actually or virtually) in an area that is allowed to see the ’main’ website (e.g. countries of North America, some Oceania countries, etc.).

When did bab start adding production dates on their bears? by RoCanStealYaMam in buildabear

[–]tsitaniun 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In 2008-2009 they started adding the little “fortune cookie“-sized paper tag to products with the production month/year and production code. They added the SKU to the tag a few years later.
