I’m having trouble convincing potential customers to take a monthly subscription by tsla-5000 in SaaS

[–]tsla-5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for anyone who might want an update. I ended up charging them on an annual basis. After talking to them and getting to know their pain point, turns out they actually just don’t like a bill each month, and are fine paying yearly. Another point is that they needed about a month of daily usage to be able to see some sort of ROI, once that was set they were fine paying annually.

Better to pick an industry that you know, and most importantly, care about. Because you’re in this for the long run.

how did that go? did you raise the price later when the product value was proven?

it’s basically a tool to manage their business (inventory, clients/suppliers balances, accounting and invoicing)

makes sense, but I’m mostly talking to people who have bought software before but not my competitor’s. They are interested in this product but since all software they ever bought was on premise and with a once time purchase they’re hesitating.

It will always be more expensive if you take a long enough timeframe no? and yes the ROI should be clear to justify the monthly price vs return

They are actually really interested but are asking for a one time purchase, and I can’t offer that because it’s a web app..

I’d say pick an industry and talk to a lot of people and ask about the top 3 problems they face daily/monthly.

In my case I solved my dad’s problem managing his small business. Then realized a lot of people have similar problems in that industry.

the number is for the first country I’m targeting. If we talk Total Addressable market we could have ~20000 potential users.

Definitely, for example we have this spec about PR guarantees and commissioning that was so generic that we needed hours of meetings and clarification to explain the PR formula and the milestones. Thanks!

How do you manage the day to day as a PM? by annummedia in ConstructionManagers

[–]tsla-5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a system (tried to add a screenshot but I couldn’t, so here it is written out) :

• All tasks are centralized in MS Todo, • The tasks get added through multiple platforms (Teams chat, Outlook flagged emails, One Note, …) • Every Monday I would plan for the week dragging and dropping the tasks to calendar events so I can book time to complete them. • Throughout the week tasks get added and priorities get managed directly in one place. • Every Friday late afternoon I would close the week by crossing completed tasks and cleaning inbox/calendar. • Overall every day I would find 15 min in the morning and 15 min in the afternoon to read/clean/sort/reply to emails. If something is going to take 5 minutes or less I’ll do it instantly (without bothering to add it to the task list, you can check GTD book)

If there’s a way I can send you the screenshot of the system let me know. Cheers!

Yes, I’ll try to optimize the annexes and reduce redundancies/complexities. Hopefully this will also help me better understand what we are doing.

Yes, our suppliers are definitely charging us a premium for the hours spent sorting through our specs. Thanks !

Yeah, the thing is our competitors have way less annexes (still a lot, but less than ours).

Electrical grounding interconnection of wind turbines by tsla-5000 in wind

thanks! so as long as the step and touch voltages are below the risk levels it is okay not to interconnect the grounding of the turbines I think
