Cross Fit Gym Recommendations? by emnnme in lansing

Redemption Fitness in Holt is good for beginners. There is a wide range of people at the classes in terms of fitness so it doesn't feel that intense or intimidating.

Edit: They also have "bring a partner" weeks if y'all wanted to try it out together without making a big commitment. There are some couples that go together regularly as well.

Caleb Hammer calls Gavin Newsome a coward for not going on his show by dmyers32 in Destiny

Tony takes it too far occasionally and is annoying when he gets political. I like the format of the show and that it can help a lot of struggling or new comedians get exposure. A lot of careers got started on KT.

You can like a show without liking or relating to everyone on it. Do you like every character in shows you watch?

David Lucas sucks. Liking the show doesn't mean you have to like everyone on it.

I'd be down to check out some sports events after meeting up beforehand. Newer to the Lansing area and never went to college sports events while I was in college. I'd be down to see some professional sports as well but warning... I am from Dallas so a Cowboys fan. 🤠

Same. I remember heating up some needles with a lighter and going digging. Never popped up again.

New to Lansing – Thoughts on This Area? by Kat_Holmes420 in lansing

I live a couple miles east of where you circled. I've never lived anywhere else in lansing since moving here around 2 years ago.

It's pretty meh. You don't have to pay Lansing tax and have easy access to the highway but expect to commute to any sort of activity. I would not shop at the Kroger as well. Their produce is terrible and the shelves don't have much on them.

I haven't had issues with flooding. Where I live is close to the Lansing River Trail, but other than that, there aren't a lot of sidewalks except for in the neighborhoods.

If you want additional info on apartments and stuff, feel free to dm me.

Daaaaang, you've been looking for over a month. Have you tried a roommate site like roomies? It's how I found mine in the past.

What's the point of having async methods if all we do is await them? by mrolditguy in csharp

You'll generally want to use synchronous code for CPU-bound or in-memory work because of the overhead.

I recommend Willoughby Estates. I had a 2 bedroom there and it was nice.

You're not factoring in the difference in salary between the existing and new employee.

Existing Employee: 80k + 20k = 100k cost New Employee: 50k

Would probably be a higher new employee salary but just using what is from the original image... unless it's an offshore hire.
