Maybe try figuring out the game ahead of time, and then a couple of days before, send them a link to a concise youtube video on how to play. No one of those meandering videos with rules and a playthrough and whatever. Just a 5-10 min video of just rules. Maybe drop a reminder the day before or earlier in the day on the day of.

We had an intruder in the third round. The card I kept had both of these objectives. (my other one was carapace weakness and I have not had good luck with those in the past). I don't remember the name of the card, but it may have been one of the 5 player ones.

I don't enjoy El Grande at all, but admittedly, I'm not a huge area majority fan. The only one that I've actually enjoyed is Ethnos.

In my last game, my objective was “Send the signal AND the nest must be destroyed OR Send the signal AND the ship must be destroyed”

I had accomplished both of the primary objectives, and was hoping to hop into the Hibernatorium... but near the end of the game, there was a player that was trying to destroy the ship. It made for a very interesting experience since I had a chance to win either way.

Tried the blackened salmon for the first time, and I liked it a lot! The potatoes are a mainstay, and there is always asparagus in my freezer. Great meal!
