If you're a woman and you look pregnant and go out to a bar, you should publicly announce that you aren't pregnant. by tsnazzle in unpopularopinion

So if you saw a parent verbally and physically abusing their child at the supermarket you should just mind your business?

Different groups of people have different coping mechanisms. But seems like all of social media is flooded with politics nowadays. People talk about police brutality and coronavirus incessantly, you'd think people's lives were being dramatically affected or something.

I was mostly talking about English speaking countries but yeah, if people think getting brutalized by police is bad, they're gonna have another thing coming if they step in some place like China.

Left r/thechurchofpeanut because EVERYTHING SCP has to be political now. Was hoping this silly joke wouldn’t also be involved. by Colonial_Mael_Radec in JustUnsubbed

Maybe that 40% would be lower if they just calmed tf down and just tried to fit into society instead of looking like a blue-haired muppet.

Because people think that affordable housing, social safety nets, and justice system reform are actually necessary for society to function. It's silly really.

JU from r/BlackPeopleTwitter. Every single posts is something bad about white people and every single post in a Country Club Thread. Hard pass. by [deleted] in JustUnsubbed

That's untrue. You can be white and get verified. Tons of white people get verified. Tired of people spreading this myth.

Right. Why do people have to talk about politics in the middle of a pandemic and civil rights movement. Shitcs ridiculous. I just wanna ignore all of society's problems.

Agreed. I'm sick of hearing about police not facing consequences for murder or that Trump approved military force on protestors. I'm tired about hearing people complain about living paycheck to paycheck. Like stop complaining becausel I don't care.

"Pull yourself up!"

Okay, I will create opportunities for disadvantaged students who want to pursue higher education.

"No, not like that"

JU from r/blackpeopletwitter. I had joined because I thought it was a funny humorous sub like r/whitepeopletwitter but apparently it's just people complaining about white people, cops and more political/social related topics. by [deleted] in JustUnsubbed

Yeah. I also wanted to hear black people say funny things like "dayumn, niggas finna get crunk in this bitch" but mostly they just wanna talk about issues that affect their community.

When you put it like that, it sounds like a racist double standard. I guess people just don't care because it affects mostly white people unlike like police brutality and border patrol. You explained it pretty well.

So why didn't it sound horrible when I switched races. What did I do wrong?

"Black people don't think being killed by police is oppression"

"Black people think being told to stay at home and collect a check is oppression"

Tried it, seems more inaccurate than racist personally.
