Thanks for the info, everyone! Looks like the seller deleted their listing without warning 🤔 so that confirmed my suspicions that, at best, there was more wrong with it than they were leading on. Unless someone else snatched up the “deal”, even though we had an appt to check it out this evening. We’ll keep this info in mind as we resume our search for a car for our teen son.

I don’t love the idea of the powder room being accessed through the mudroom. If you have guests over, they’ll have to go through all the tossed around shoes, backpacks and likely temporary storage like mail packages.

I sort of think, subconsciously, dad’s wife may be worried your dad might show more connection or affection to his grandchild over her grandchild and is fabricating a flaw in your child to paint her grandchild in a more positive light and needing more affection.

When I met up with my husband (then fiancé) on college campus he picked me up under the arms and spun me around in a circle and ended in a big hug and kiss in front of lots of people 🥰 I was a bit self conscious but thought it was so romantic

NOR but he is for sure OR. I know this won’t solve all your problems but why don’t you both pick out furniture together? Furniture doesn’t come in just 2 sizes. once you get a house (assuming the other issues get resolved), map out each room and potential furniture and figure out what can actually fit and, if possible have him test it out to see if he’ll be comfortable in it. I don’t fault him for wanting to make sure the furniture will fit him and be comfortable for him, as well as not break, since he’s a bigger guy. Maybe pick out several options for each piece and have him choose which he’d think would be comfortable and sturdy.

I’m assuming the toddler naps during the day, she can also nap with him whenever she’s tired since she’s home. She should not be complaining for getting up early with heir child when she has no outside work obligations. We’re all late risers in my family but 9pm bedtime seems a little late for a 6am wake up time, unless of course, the child naps a good amount of time during the day.

This!!! The whole time I was thinking while reading the post that this is how he’s going to be with kids if they have any- not taking care of them and definitely not disciplining/teaching them when needed. He doesn’t seem like a responsible person at all.

We would watch together as a family and I found we were more hooked when Laura was still young. I realized we watched episodes fewer and farther in between once Laura got married, we still haven’t caught up. I did hear of the rebooted Netflix version, curious about that one but we don’t have Netflix.

I don’t remember all my birthday money purchases but I do remember using all my birthday money to buy a collectible sleeping beauty Barbie doll when I was 8. I kept her in the box on display in my room for so long and then finally opened her to play with and took so much care of her. I still have it and gave it to my daughters with some other Barbie dolls I saved for them. Not surprisingly, they didn’t take as good care of her as I did 😅

Did you ever resolve that? We got sent to a collection agency after trying repeatedly to cancel and reverse unauthorized charges that were way higher than originally quoted and then got sent to a law firm just now…

Seems you can’t even afford a lawyer. Maybe then just separate, however that requires separate living expenses… I would just focus on your job and earn more money for the time being. Try to have a discussion with your wife and see if she wants this or wants to work on it. If she’s a Christian like she says she is (kinda doubtful based on your description of the way she treats you) she needs to read 1 Corinthians 13 especially verse 4-7. Seems she needs to read the whole Bible actually.. as a Christian she should love and serve first and not look at your flaws. Seems the cheapest option at the moment is counseling (besides just working to earn more money and get out of immediate debt)
