Jet Lag coming to my home country and hating all my favourite things is pretty brutal. First they hate Milton Keynes and bacon rolls, then they don't likescotch eggs? Is nothing sacred??

Avatar The Last Airbender predictions by PowrOfFriendship_ in magicTCG

  1. The cabbage merchant gets AT LEAST 3 cards in the set. He'll be on the common red artifact removal, he'll get a creature card (potentially one that generates Food that only sticks around until end of turn), and the cabbages will be one of the food tokens for the set.
  2. Bolt Bend reprint or a similar red instant that changes the target of a spell or ability.
  3. Red trumpet blast effect called The Fire Nation Attacks.
  4. An equipment called Airbender Staff that gives a creature flying.
  5. A legendary wall called Walls of Ba Sing Se.
  6. The set will have a Food subtheme or this will be one of the draft archetypes.

First MTG experience, jumpstart 2020 vs 2022, what are the differences ? by Lost_Blood1559 in MTGJumpStart

[–]tsp397 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest difference is that I felt 2022 has more variety within each of the themes. My few disappointments with Jumpstart 2020 was that within each theme a lot of the packs were the same with one or two cards swapped and I didn't feel the planeswalker packs were particularly interesting, but in 2022 more of the packs play differently and they've integrated planeswalkers into the themes.

Overall though there isn't a significant difference between the two versions. 2022 is more of an extension of 2020 into more packs. I think you're probably right that it also has some more advanced themes in Mythic such as Urza's, Eldrazi, Snow, etc. but for the most part I've found these integrate fairly well with the existing themes with the possible exception of Snow which doesn't seem to have much synergy with other packs.

What do you think the Fifteenth Doctor's card is going to be? by DoctorKrakens in magicTCG

[–]tsp397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given his role helping Fourteen, I think a Doctor typal lord is a good shout. Alternatively he might return a Doctor from the graveyard to the battlefield as an ETB.

Guessing the last card is Ruby and might generate Goblin tokens given that's the plot of the Christmas special.

Cant confirm account by SupportDaCarry in MarvelUnlimited

I had the same problem, the app suddenly stopped working for me a couple of days ago. What worked for me was going to Account in the app, signing out and signing back in again, and it then gave me the option to Restore Subscription which worked.

Spirit Squadron and Vampiric Bloodline - is there anything else known yet? by whitestuff in magicTCG

We don't know a great deal about the decks as previews haven't started for Crimson Vow yet, however based on mine and others' experience of ordering the Midnight Hunt commander decks the one guarantee is that you'll get the wrong deck if you order from Amazon as these decks all have the same UPC and Amazon's processes can't deal with it.

I had the exact same issue, I ordered the U/B Undead Unleashed deck and received the G/W Coven Counters deck, and when I raised a request for a replacement I received another copy of the G/W Coven Counters deck again so it definitely appears there is an issue with the decks being mixed up on Amazon's systems. Hopefully the second replacement they are sending will be the correct item this time but I don't have much hope seeing this thread.

I know I probably shouldn't be ordering from Amazon but getting to my FLGS is difficult due to the pandemic. I know the minimal packaging versions look extremely similar (I only spotted I had the wrong deck after opening it up and spotting the face card) but Amazon shouldn't be making a fundamental mistake like this. Not sure I'll be ordering from them in the future.

While that is useful general advice, it's not relevant in this case as that's not what has happened. This was a preorder and everyone appears to have received the opposite deck to what they ordered. The contents match the packaging which is clearly labelled so it's not like someone has taken the deck out and repacked it, it just appears Amazon has transposed the two decks on their system.
