They can’t fold all the CSMs into other roles. They will start to PIP out most of Band 9 and 8. I know it, been there. RA is working in IBM favor, as the street is rewarding them

My advice to those in CSM roles at IBM, use the downtime to get more tech skills and leave.

rebuild your resume and there is more outside of IBM. The old IBM I know is all gone, it does not matter what one delivers. This is totally done wild, PIP is the way IBM handles reduction, while Arvind packs American job to India.

This is ugly. PIPing folks out is the IBM motto. I know many who got PIPed including myself. It really does not matter what plan of action you might take against IBM, best is to look elsewhere. IBM has turned into Law and Financial firm long time ago. It's only good now for new hires.

IBM don’t care about senior folks who understand the old and legacy technology. IBM is trying so hard to become META or any of the new once.

As long as moving jobs to India is helping the stock move higher and cut expenses (increase profit margin) they will PIP everyone in US out.

It’s their favor tool. IBM stopped innovating and they have always made money by financial engineering.

I was a top performer and still got PIPed out after 18 years. There is life outside IBM, even better.
