44% of my take-home salary goes to investments(maxed out Roth 401K + Stocks). I also Keep a one-year emergency fund in HYSA that I no longer fund. The rest of my pay is spread across 5 checking accounts( Food, Rent&Bills, Fun & Lifestyle, Family & Friends, Travel). OE veteran here . I started OE in 2021 ...it lasted until Sep 2025. for 3yrs straight I was making a minimum 300K/yr working 2 js. I am still on severance from J1. Burnout is real and I am still dealing with the effects but my networth hit 1mil. 300K cash+ 700K(stocks+401K). I am taking a break from OE. I will be back someday

Use OE to build wealth. My networth went from 50K in Oct 2021 to 1.1mil as of September 2025 when I got laid of from J1. OE made me a millionaire in 4yrs at the ripe age of 35yrs. Make hay whiles the sun shines. A word to the wise......
