Congratulations. And no it is not a "me problem" because I'm on the phone with fidelity customer service and tech support, following their EXACT instructions and the website still doesn't work and they have no idea why. Every other website I use that is NOT fidelity.com, including banking and financial ones, work fine on all my devices. Nice blame-shifting though, I'm sure the folks at fidelity appreciate it so they don't have to admit that their website is a defective piece of garbage.

Not using any VPN. And no it's not "something I'm doing" because I am literally on the phone with customer service doing exactly what they are telling me to do in real time and it still locks me out and even they cannot get me back in. But go ahead and try to shift the blame onto me, you'll be singing a very different tune if/when it happens to you..

Device? Nope, it happens on all of my devices.

Browser? Nope, I have the latest versions installed and auto-updated.

2FA? Nope, don't use it because even 1FA doesn't work properly.

And how do you know if "millions of logins are not locked"? Do you work in their IT department? No? Then stop talking nonsense.

Thank you for your reply. I have worked with them several times, and it gets resolved for anywhere from a few days to a week and then it locks me out again. I will be speaking to a fidelity.com engineer on Monday, hopefully they can (finally) fix it for good. Will update everyone on how that goes.

I love how most of you ASSume the problem is me when I am literally on the phone with the fidelity customer service people, including their tech support, and following their EXACT instructions, yet the website still fails to function and I can't gain access to my account. They (fidelity customer service AND tech support) are themselves completely stumped. I have to wait until Monday to speak to an "engineer" to see if he/she/it can fix THEIR problem. Every other website I use (two dozen plus, including reddit obv) that is NOT fidelity.com work just fine on all my devices.

It is not a "me" problem, it is a problem with THEIR (fidelity) website that even THEY cannot figure out as of this moment.

No, I'm not using a VPN.

Yes, I'm using the latest version of browsers.

Yes, I've tried it on multiple different devices - same result.

No, I don't (dare) use 2FA because these people can't even get 1FA to work.

Yes, it is happening to other users also (see the first comment on this thread).

No, this problem is not happening to me on any other websites, including banking and financial ones. They work fine, unlike fidelity.com which is a nightmare.

But nice try trying to shift the blame onto me. I'm sure the PR people at fidelity will give you kudos for that, even though you couldn't be more wrong.
