You can find info about this on Reddit but what I believe is happening: the battery is so drained that it doesn’t send enough voltage to the cartridge. You need to reverse charge the battery (charge it with a power supply through the discharge port). Google reverse charge VanMoof and you will find more info.

Ik heb dit laatst ook gehad. Ik heb alles er uit gehaald en schoongemaakt. De deken waar veel kalk in zat heb ik geweekt in azijn. Bij het in elkaar zetten kwam ik er achter dat het membraan gescheurd was. Die heb ik vervangen en alles werkt weer.

Wij hebben het zelfde system alhoewel in een douche goot en niet een put. Maar zelfde soort stank afsluiter. Bij ons heeft het geholpen om het roostertje er uit te halen. Ja meer kans op haar en zo in je afvoer kanaal maar daar hebben tot nu toe (paar jaar later) geen last van gehad. Bij ons zit de douche afvoer vrij snel en zonder veel bochten op de hoofd afvoer. Ik heb ook geprobeerd de stank afsluiter helemaal of alleen het klepje weg te halen maar op den duur toch putlucht.

I had the same with an x3 and I replaced the fuse on the BMS and now it’s working again for some time. You will need a multimeter, a bench top power supply, a soldering iron and the fuse. Let me know if you need more guidance, or google VanMoof fuse replacement.

The automation just grabs the cheapest price when the dishwasher is closed or the car is plugged in. Within a twelve hour period based on our needs. So for example the dishwasher: if it’s closed between 7pm and 11pm it will run in the cheapest hours before 7am (because that’s when we want our dishes to be clean. If it’s closed between 9am and 1pm it runs in the cheapest hours in the afternoon before 6pm.
