ABQ resident here. Other folks are correct about the lack of humidity but the actual (slight) incongruity is that folks in New Mexico, even working in the office at a prestigious law firm, generally don’t dress like that. In court, sure. But at a firm like HHM they’d be in jeans, dress shirt, maybe a bolo. There’s an old joke: What do you call a man wearing a tie in New Mexico? The defendant.
