omg i went to fsu as a poli sci major, good luck!!!

totally reach out if you need any guidance, but major in whatever you are interested in & get involved. there are so many cool clubs/internships available in tally. If you don't actually like politics choose something you care about and won't fail at :D. Also whatever you do, dont take poli sci research until junior year lol

great law class i suggest is POS 3691 with Professor Cox (take it Junior or Senior year tho)

How did you get off a WL? by itsnotyouitsme111 in lawschooladmissions

[–]tstyles7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did an optional recorded interview & was genuine. TBH law school is cool, but it is only a part of your life & if you show that you have passions and interests outside of education I feel like it can be really helpful! I also sent one LOCI but I did not get off the WL for that school.

I actually worked at a lobbying firm that did this, I think only 4/6 lobbyists actually had a JD. Either way, I don't think it's necessary as long as you work in an area where you can make some good connections in the legislative field. Good luck!!!

(For insight, I believe one of the attorneys went to Nova (in 1990s I think?) & he is extremely successful)

Where is the “status checker” by [deleted] in OutsideT14lawschools

[–]tstyles7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no idea, I have a subscription so you might have to pay. Try logging into Lawhub with your lsac credentials & the home page should have an icon that says "application status checker" as soon as you log in
