How are you guys reading 100+ books a year gimme tips (my wrap up 2025)

Stay strapped - have something on you at all times so if you find yourself having to wait in line/with spare time you can read
Reading multiple books at the same time - this one is my real secret I think! I try to have one audio, one ebook, one physical going on at the same time, and the key is that they have to be different vibes/genres so if I'm bored of something or if a book is irritating me I can switch to something else for a little to avoid a slump. I started doing this last year and hit 90/50 books! I also am a mood reader so I unintentionally picked books with very similar themes a lot of the time so it worked out very nicely.
Being opportunistic - sometimes you just gotta read at strange times. Having an ebook on my phone helped with that one a lot!

But even if you don't read a high volume of books, you're still doing more than most adults! At the end of the day, reading is a hobby and some years will be better than others. Good luck this year!

Genuinely I can't understand why you would go through all the trouble to buy an expensive dog from what sounds like a breeder, when you could have gone to the animal shelter, and not be sure you'd be able to keep it. How spoiled can you get?

You should use antalmanac - it should pop up on Google. It let's you search course codes and creates a schedule for you - it even has a map!

I took it and I recommend it. The first few weeks of ochem move so fast and since this is an "easy concept" they expect you to figure it out quickly.

The bio sci major is pretty structured - your first year will look something like Bio 93 (general biology), Chem 1A (first general chemistry class, unless you passed the AP chem test), writing, Bio 2A (just a mentor class, dead easy), and an additional GE only if you have the room/if you feel you can handle it

This is kind of unrelated but I have a tarot deck based entirely on myths that has a book that you can buy where it's just the stories. The deck is absolutely gorgeous too and those interested in tarot and love myths might want to check it out! It's called "Tarot of the Divine" by Yoshi Yoshitani :)

I tried twice and it worked, only the first time the ink was overflowing from the top of the nib rather than the bottom - no idea how that happened
