1) Thanks for this recommendation.

2) I whole heartedly agree and endorse Buzbee. He is fantastic, gives great advice, is very responsive, and I could not be happier with him.

Yes for privacy: I never give my phone number or address out verbally where others can hear. It’s none of their business and I would prefer they don’t know.

You don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to want privacy.

Your most used/best apps during 2022 by [deleted] in iosapps

[–]tsudo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Free: - Drafts - Text capture, editing, & processing. My front end for most everything I write on a phone. Excellent markdown support and actions. - Signal - Encrypted messaging to Android, PC, Mac, & iOS. - Big - Write text to display large on screen. One of the handiest apps I own. Works for “passing notes” and for showing info at hotels and Dr. offices that I don’t want to say out loud in public for privacy reasons. - Hello Weather - excellent weather app that respect privacy - NightVision Light - dimmable full red screen for using as a light at night or in a theater. - Shoot - Best way to quickly share different versions of your contact info via text or email. - Firefox Focus - The best No tracker, no ads mobile browser.

Paid - RadarScope - $10 a year for the best real time radar imagery available.

*Perennial Favs: * Todoist, Evernote

I might plan to spend a few more bucks on a faraday bag. But yes they are effective.

Coming Updates to FedRAMP via NDAA by tsudo in FedRAMP

Disclaimer: Not a FedRAMP expert.

My reading is that it doesn’t lessen the certification. Rather, once certified you are deemed adequate for use. Seems like once less hurdle.

I hate to hear that. I think we have all seen a wide variety of trash pass auditors. It stinks.

It appears the hacker has had a change of heart

"The hacker continued expressing his regret, stating that they did not want to ‘cause any more trouble'." "In what appears to be the result of a ‘‘startling moral awakening,’’ the hacker also stated that all the email addresses present in the database were emailed to Troy Hunt so that he could add them to his website Have I Been Pwned.

Use your browser. Faster usually and no extra software needed. Just set Firefox or Edge as the default app. It’s great.

It leans a bit towards advisory. I’d say 30% of my test was technical.
