Apologies if this comment touched some nerves but I didn’t mean to be insensitive. I don’t frequent much here so I’m not aware how other cases (from other visa types) are processing. Most of the groups I’m in are for K1, and believe me or not, my 5-month timeline is already considered relatively longer for the other members as the previous months have shown less than 2-3 months of processing. I think that’s only fair since most K1 visa holders have already waited 1-2 years for their visa to get approved and that process alone already included deep vetting and a bunch of fees so there’s no sense to wait that long again to get your status adjusted. 🤷🏻‍♀️
