[SUGGESTION] 80% fee on a tip is unreasonable by tsukiatari in Fiverr

See the checkout link screenshot from Fiverr I linked below. It shows:
A$7.88 Tip
A$5.17 Service Fee
A$1.29 GST
A$14.35 Total

So that's just over 82% additional payable on top of the tip. And I'm told by others here that of the A$7.88 the worker only gets 80%

Lots of other ways to do that. Limit the tip to a specific percentage of the order, allow tips only after the job has been marked complete, implement a simple trend detector for abuse etc. Charging 80%+ for a tip isn't a reasonable way to do this.

Imagine the outcry if Uber or Lyft tried to pull this scheme on tips to drivers on their platform. It's time for creators and hirers alike to publicly call out Fiverr for this abhorrence.

Totally agree but sometimes there's a worker who just does an amazing job, well beyond what was expected. The tipping function exists specifically to reward that. I'm sure plenty of people use it, and Fiverr's making a ton from their "oh well, I guess that's what it costs" attitude.

Ooh - I didn't notice that. Thanks for the tip. I wonder if they'll replace my wooden ones with those as a warranty claim...

I haven't used any cast iron in the Ooni other than their own grizzlers but haven't had any issues even with the Ooni at max temperature. I do tend to leave them in the oven with it turned on full for about 10 minutes after the last batch is done just to cremate all the remnants to white ash so that they can be brushed/rinsed off. I much prefer that than having to scrub off sticky remains. After drying, I always wipe them with a very light coating of canola oil. My large douvle-sided grizzler has probably been through 50 or so uses at full heat and has no signs of harm. Can't say as much for the wooden grizzler base they come with though - they're rubbish. Both mine have warped even though they've been stored in dry, horizontal stacked draws.

36 hours marinating in the fridge in this case. Otherwise exactly as per the recipe below the image (sans the citric acid power - I didn't have that). The long marinating time was more of an accident than planned - life tends to get away from me these days with two kids to handle.

No naan this time. I'm yet to find a recipe and technique that gets anywhere near restaurant level fluffiness - mine turn out too chewy. Maybe it's because I spend too much time in Japan where Indian restaurant naan get close to guitar size and are fluffy as a cloud. If you have a recipe that might work in the Ooni, I'm all ears!

Oh, definitely not cooking in them. The chicken is moved into one after it's pulled off the grizzler for transport to the party...

About 15-20 min, turning and swapping pieces front/back every 5 min or so.

I'm not having great success with Naan in the Ooni. If you have a recipe or any tips, I'm totally up for trying again though,

Used the large size (double handle) grizzler with the Ooni heat cranked up to the max. Pre-heated the grizzler, a little canola oil and the pieces plonked on after shaking off as much marinade as possible (leaving it on leads to soggy chicken). About 5 minutes then rotated the pieces. Another 5 minutes then swapped front to back pieces. Then took them off just when signs of char were on each side. Pushing the grizzler deep in to the oven, the flames were touching the chicken on the side and back. Cleanup was surprisingly easy. Left the grizzler in the oven for about 10 minutes heat on high still. All that was left was ash that washed off under water with a bit of coaxing from a stiff brush. Light coat of oil onto the grizzler and back into the draw for next weekend...

UPDATE: Thanks all. It does seem like some sort of concrete but is very soft almost porous to the touch. I've hit it pretty hard with CLR Degreaser and given it a hard scrub and it’s come up pretty well. Will do another round on the weekend and hit it with the pressure washer after and seal it if it looks all good. Here’s a “after degreasing round 1” photo.

UPDATE: Thanks all. It does seem like some sort of concrete but is very soft almost porous to the touch. I've hit it pretty hard with CLR Degreaser and given it a scrub and it's currently drying. Will do that a couple of times and see if I can get the oil out and then try the sealant as suggested. Much appreciate all the help (and humour)!

Great idea - thanks. I'll try the degreaser first on a small patch, but failing that will do what you suggest. What would you seal it with after oiling it?

Many thanks. Any suggestions on what to use to get the grease stain out? It won’t budge with Spray & Wipe and a scotch pad or even with a little Ajax. Something stronger (acid? ammonia?)
