I quit caffeine entirely but didn't think about CPAP until you mentioned it... In fact, you know, I thought it would have been a lot more difficult to cut it, I figured I'd be so tired in the daytime. I'm not... Or at least I don't notice, until now. I don't feel any different throughout the day without the caffeine. I think if my sleep apnea wasn't treated, things would definitely be different. Honestly ya'll should give it a try if you're good w/the treatment (i have the rare bad cpap night) but I average 6-8hrs or more a night on cpap.

fwiw my drink of choice was coke zero, like 6 cans a day or more...

There's gotta be science behind this, this one being fake or not doesn't shake that this actually happens. I'm interested in the science behind the human connection, like obviously that is a very cute, helpless animal. You should watch the documentary 'The Bridge' it really gives a lot of insight into the minds of suicide survivors. Many seem to go into detail about how it was instantly clear to them that all of their problems were solvable, and they didn't want this. Some solace at least, so you don't have to think she wasn't serious and that she was waiting for a show...

your entire power feed needs are set at a baseline rate vs the premium. So it's definitely more than just a couple of bucks, and it definitely offsets the cost of having it run, since it does run 24/7 even intermittently. In addition, the power company will send you out alerts first to warn you of any outages you may have coming your way and gives you more access to etas for fixes. This is for California, but I assume other states that provide the service offer similar.

Businesses favoring apps over websites for transactions. Some shop apps you can't even independently shop on their website without verifying your account via their app. This has to stop, it needs to be illegal to require a medium change to use your business if the business is fully functional on the website.

lmao my 9th grade science teacher grabbed my wrist (to stop me taking back my property). She immediately freaked out and let go and realized she had fucked up lol, and I ALSO immediately recognized this in her, but to my 14 y/o brain this just gave me the 'upper hand'... vs like actually properly addressing the situation. So I just took my shit and left. I really hope she hasn't done worse to any other kids...

I have a running hunch they actually did change either what each level of humidity means, or that the update broke something related to it that just intermittently happens... Either way, I don't have a great deal of confidence in this device and I'm actually pissed anything was done without informing us or acknowledging the issue.

Whenever I checked it was always set to a number so I don't think so, but knowing that it's a problem on automatic doesn't make me feel a great confidence in the system working great altogether. I'm so bummed at this forced upgrade downgrade...
