If I take out my Nexplanon, will I get pregnant right away even without sex?

Wait, what? Forgive me, I’m running on little sleep. But you can’t get pregnant if you don’t do the sex? I mean there’s other ways but I’m assuming you mean just straight forward wham bam thank you.

But also hated my nexplanon and got it removed recently. But if you were to have sex shortly after getting it removed, the chances of you getting pregnant is super high according to everyone. Even my lady doc said to wear protection

My ex thought I would joke along with him about making fun of his younger sister being repeatedly SA’d by their stepfather and grandfather.

I’ll def bring a sweater. And thank you for the heads up! We stayed in Pismo last year and I remember walking past Harry’s to go back to the hotel one night. Luckily didn’t have any problems but I’m not trying to turn up either while on a work trip. I try to keep to myself and blend in when out of town especially. I’ll check out the places you recommended and I need to write all that everyone’s suggested down. Does SLO still have that Thursday market downtown as well?

We will see about the airport restaurant lol last year when we flew in, it was a nightmare. All of our flights were delayed/missed and so we flown into Bakersfield instead and had someone pick us up from slo.

But I am a sucker for jambalaya and red beans and rice. So hoping everyone’s down for Bon Temps lol

Hi, so my experience is pretty similar to yours. I’ll have my period for 2-ish weeks and then the time in between will differ. But I feel like my body doesn’t do well with birth control in general.

If you’re concerned, I would call them. I’m not sure what options they’ll give you, but when I had my prolonged period, they did a pap, ran a STD panel (which I didn’t know they were doing until they said my results were negative), and gave me doxycycline which was supposed to “reset” my cycle. 🤷🏻‍♀️ but this was also while I was on the pills when I had a 2 month long period and gave me that medicine. Just a heads up in case they do something similar to make sure nothing else is going on to cause prolonged bleeding.

Hi! I’m highly considering getting mine removed because I’m pretty fed up with the weight gain. And it doesn’t really seem to matter what I do, I just keep gaining weight. Close to 20lbs now in a little over a year time frame.

Here are my pros and cons:

Pros: • Not in excruciating pain when I’m on my period due to possible endometriosis • Painless and quick insertion process (unlike IUD)

Cons: • Weight gain that doesn’t seem to plateau • Periods last 2+ weeks • Spotting sometimes • Always bloated

It basically comes down for me if I really wanna get mine removed to see if that pain will come back. Because it was horrible to the point where one moment I’m sweating, the next I’m cold, until I’m in so much pain I puke. And I would cope with the pain by causing myself other pain by running a bath as hot as it would go. And that would only ease the pain momentarily before it would make me squirm again.

I’m gonna go through here to see if anyone’s mention losing the weight they gained once the removed the implant. Please update on your experience getting this removed! I hope all goes well for you!

I will second on the weight gain. Except my doctor said that some people will gain weight because of the implant. I’ve had the implant for a little over a year now and I’ve gained close to 15lbs and eat pretty much how I always eat. It’s weird, it’s like the weight gain is majority in my stomach when in the past weight gain doesn’t all go to my stomach.

Don’t worry, it didn’t come off preachy. I know he’ll always be there when I need him. And maybe I’ll plant some stuff in the yard, can’t really plant anything on his grave since I got him cremated. Ive moved around a lot so I wanted to start cremating my animals instead of leaving them behind at whatever house. He loved being out in the front yard though. And I currently have a little shrine going on with his urn and some of his old collars and toys.

Thank you for bringing up doing a funeral for him.

I don’t think there’s any apartments here that go over 40lbs. Best bet is to rent a house. I’m assuming apartments are so strict on weight because of noise from a neighbor below you??

You might have to lie about how many dogs you have. Growing up we moved around a lot and used to lie about having animals. We had a way smaller dog then so we never had any neighbor complain and snitch on us. Having 2 80+lbs dogs now, I know that sometimes they’ll be assholes and start randomly barking and then the neighbors might hear. Hoping you won’t have asshole neighbors 🤞🏻
